CornerMaxTM Sleeves (Cut Protection)
CornerMaxTM Sleeves is an extremely strong polyethylene Fiber – Dyneema®, manufacturing with a patented gel spinning process, so this can offer the maximum strength combined with minimum weight. Based on the same weight, this remarkable fiber is up to 15 times stronger than steel and up to 40% stronger than aramid fibers. It has high energy absorption and low elongation. Dyneema® floats on water, and is extremely resistant to abrasion, moisture, UV rays and chemicals.
CornerMaxTM Sleeves, which is different from CornerMaxTM Pad, can offer the specific protection to the loads have rough, sharp, curved edge, always rotate and repetitive uses (such as rolls of sheet metal or large prefab concrete parts), while CornerMaxTM Pad cannot provide in these specific positions.
Low weight CornerMaxTM Sleeves are ideal for repetitive lifting operations. This can be placed readily and quickly around the sling. Adding a CornerMaxTM Sleeves to the sling provides extremely good cut- and abrasion resistance, thereby minimizing the need for time-consuming placement of protection pads.
