Features:
Nylon is the strongest among the general synthetic fibers except Kevlar and Spectra. It hascomparatively higher strength, longer life span in different weathers and sinks in the water. Also,it is high in both elasticity and shock absorption, so it is more expensive when comparedwith other general synthetic fibers.
Uses:
Industrial, vessels, fisheries use like mooring lines, towing slings and so on).
Nylon rope lost up to 15% of dry strength when it gets wet and it becomes stiffen due to fiber shrinkage.
