75th National Day Celebration and Community Health Guardianship Day

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the “75th National Day Celebration and Community Health Guardianship Day” was successfully held in the North District of New Territories, Hong Kong, on November 24, 2024. This event was co-organized by the NT North District Manufacturers' Association, 祥華賢毅社, and the North District Office of the Home Affairs Department. Supporting organizations included the North District We Care Dementia Charity Fundation, the Hong Kong Jingluo Medical Association, the Southern Medical University Alumni Association in Hong Kong, the HKYWCA Ellen Li District Elderly Community Centre, and 賢毅繽紛義工團, with strong support from 伍捷進中醫博士推拿義工團隊 and the North District Health Centre.

Mr. Alfred Lam, President of the North District Manufacturers' Association, personally attended the event and delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. Additionally, he and other award presenters personally recognized individuals and organizations that excelled in community service by presenting them with certificates of appreciation for their contributions to public health.

The event aimed to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the People's Republic of China and to enhance residents' health awareness through a series of free health screenings, lectures, and interactive consultations. It also sought to promote grassroots healthcare services and strengthen community cohesion. The success of this event was made possible by the participation and contributions of all guests and supporting organizations, as well as the enthusiastic involvement of every resident.
